IT'S MIDNIGHT, SHUT THAT DAMN DOG UP...

E

specially if you live in Clifton, New Jersey. As you know, I have written about some pretty stupid laws in the past on the "News", and this one ranks right up there.

Anyone out there who owns a dog, knows how much fun and lovable they can be... and what a royal pain in the ass they are... sometimes.

City Council in Clifton have come up with a sure fire method to keep your dog quiet. Punish you... in the pocketbook. If your little pooch barks 30 minutes straight, at anytime of day, you are fined $250 for the first offense. The Clifton Police Dept. will even spend taxpayers dollars to come to your home and give you the ticket. I imagine that robbery, rape and murder must be at an all time low there since they have the time to search out barking dogs.

But remember, you don't get a ticket unless the dog barks for 30 minutes straight... not 28 or 29 minutes, but 30 minutes and for two consecutive days. I guess it's okay for the dog to bark 30 minutes every other day.

Observations and Questions
Bark... Bark... woof?

FRIENDS, FAMILY AND

B

loggers, I come to praise Killer not to bury him... Yes, I have bad and sad news friends... Anna Nicole Smith and Killer may possibly be together now.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Saturday, 24 February 2007 marks the day that Killer the Betta swam to his final place in the universe. In a last futile attempt I even changed his water ahead of time thinking it may extend his life. But alas poor Uric it was to no avail.

The ceremony was private... no court battles as in the Anna Nicole case. No fighting over the remains, or money. Wrapped in aluminum foil and buried in the garden... Killer moved peacefully on to his eternal reward.

THANK GOD... IT'S OVER

O

r is it? The only word that comes to mind is "travesty" after the court spectacle in Florida for the past week and a half. I rarely refer to court proceedings as a "circus", but let me tell you... this has been a 3 ringer... with the grand finale being the Judge weeping on the bench.

In a surprise move, Broward County Circuit Judge Larry Seidlin gave custody of Anna Nicole Smith's remains to her five-month-old daughter, Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, ending a contentious six-day hearing in which allegations of profiteering, sexual abuse, blood feuds, drug addiction and paternity oftentimes overshadowed the next-of-kin status that the hearing was set to determine.

All day the Judge kept saying he was going to make his decision known today (Friday). He then does a complete turn-around and gives his "non-decision" decision on Thursday. I am convinced the President Judge told "Judge Larry" to end it all immediately. It was totally out of control and it is still spinning since Anna Nicole's mother has appealed the decison to fluff off the decison... this gem will be heard in another court today in Brower County.

The threesome refused to discuss details of their plans for a funeral arrangement, expected within the next two or three days, with Birkhead lawyer Debra Opri saying, "Anna deserves...the privacy that she sought."

WHAT???? Give me a break... Anna Nicole would have loved all of this attention!

Of the three people involved the only person for sure that we know is NOT the father is Vergie, the mother of Anna Nicole.

Personally, when all is said and done... my money is on Larry Birkhead as being the father.

I could write about this for days and days, but thankfully my head is hurting now...

Requiescat in Pace, Anna...

SOMETHING TO PONDER

O

nce in awhile something comes along that captures your mind and won't let go... know what I mean? As a result of said "capture" you begin to ask questions... and if you happen to live alone like I do... you're usually asking questions outloud and no one hears them... more importantly, you never get answerrs either.

I was watching TV and a commercial came on that I've seen a thousand times before... and I know you have seen it also.

I forget the product name now, Septic Begone, or something similar. When your septic tank fills and is all clogged up, you pour in Septic Begone or whatever it's called. In the commercials there in the tank is ummmm, well, poop, lots of it. It's all over the place. The commercial even says Septic Begone will eat "paper"... we all know they mean toilet paper even though they don't come right out and say it... just like the cartoonish brown stuff is poop, but again they never say it.

When the Septic Begone is poured into your tank, little cartoonish Pacman things appear and begin eating the poop and paper. Let's assume the little buggers are really hungry and devour all of your poop and paper... they do an excellent job and eat it all.

Now you have a tank full of these Pacman poop and paper bacteria-things....

So....

Observations and Questions
Now how do you get rid of the poop and paper eaters that have piled up in your Septic Tank?

WHY AM I GLUED TO COURT TV AND

T

Anna Nicole circus? And I do mean circus. The case is going on ad infinitum, the Judge often says he wants to move the case along to "preserve the dignity and beauty of Anna Nicole" while the poor girl's corpse is rotting in the morgue... literally...

Personally, I feel the Judge in the case is totally loving the fact that he is on television via Court TV. If this was not televised, the decision would have already been made a week ago.

Yesterday we watched Stern sit on the witness chair and as far as I am concerned shedding crocodile tears. Then her mother got on the stand. I know I shouldn't say this but my feelings are that the mother forsees "Annaland" or something akin to Graceland in Memphis.

IMPORTANT THINGS YOU MAY NEED TO

now today in work.

"Stewardesses" is the longest word typed with only the left hand and
"lollipop" with your right.

No word in the English language rhymes with month, orange, silver, or

"Dreamt" is the only English word that ends in the letters "mt".

From birth our eyes are always the same size but our nose and ears
never stop growing.

The sentence: "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" uses
every letter of the alphabet.

The words "racecar, kayak, mom, radar, and level" are the same
whether they are read left to right or right to left(palindromes).

There are only four words in the English language which endin "dous":
tremendous, horrendous, stupendous, and hazardous.

There are two words in the English language that have all five vowels
in order: "abstemious" and "facetious."

TYPEWRITER is the longest word that can be made using the letters on
only one row of the keyboard.

A cat has 32 muscles in each ear.

A goldfish has a memory of three seconds. Me too.

A "jiffy" is an actual unit of time for 1/100th of a second.

A snail can sleep for three years. Me too.

DESPITE ANY RUMORS YOU MAY HAVE...

H

eard, I am NOT the father of Anna Nicole's baby. I know the innuendo's going around the blog world regarding that one night about 14 months ago, but let me assure you that nothing happened... Here is the truth of the matter...

I had just climbed into bed and got all snugly with my pillow... then after a few minutes the phone rang. Coming out of my almost sleepy mood I whispered "hello." On the other end I heard the familiar voice, "Pooky-bear? Is that you?" cooed the voice on the other end of the phone. Only one person ever called me by that name. "Puffy-Pillows? Is that you?" In that dreamy soft voice she said, "Pookybear, I'm in Houston and I need to come right over. The Press is getting unbearable."

"PuffyPillows, you know you're always welcome in my bed... err... house." About a half hour latter, PuffyPillows was at my door, knocking gently. I opened the door and was greeted with a hug that only PuffyPillows could deliver.

After a chilled bottle of '03 Ripple de Vin and chatting and laughing about life on the sofa, PuffyPillows stretched and yawned. That was her signal that she was tired and ready for bed. Of course, being the gentleman I am I offered her my super king-sized bed while I would sleep, alone, on the sofa. She did something unexpected... she wanted me to hold her and protect her in case any photographers broke into my place.

Well, as you could imagine she just couldn't keep her hands off of me... one thing led to another and... well, you can imagine what happened next.

I woke up the next morning and she was gone! I jumped outta bed and looked for a note or message or anything. Nothing. She had just gone... and didn't even say good-bye. Well, that's PuffyPillows for ya...

Well, as I said in the beginning I'd like to say I am not the father of DanniLynn... and this story really happened, or was I dreamin' it? I am so confused now.

I NEARLY FELL OUT OF MY

C

hair while watching the news. This story really, really, REALLY takes the cake. A woman in Illinois decided to give her little pooch a bath...

No biggie... she put water in the tub, lathered the doggie up and began washing the little pooch. Rub-a-dub-dub... Then it happened. The woman was horrified... I'm horrified and I wasn't even there.

As she soaped the dog up and she began washing the dog's head and ears.... the dog's ear fell off... completely. It just came off and fell into the tub.

That was bad enough but how it happened is even worse... A few days earlier the woman took the dog to the dog grooming place for a hair-cut and general grooming.

The groomer admitted to police that while trimming the hair on the dog she accidentally cut off the dog's entire ear with the scissors!!!!

In a panic, the dog-groomer SUPER-GLUED the dog's ear back onto its' head.

I swear I am not making this story up... I did not overdose on my medication. This is absolutely true. I am biting my lower lip as I type.... that poor, poor little doggie.

AND THE ANSWER IS...

A

s you may remember yesterday I asked a question as to which presidential candidtae was married to his 2nd cousin. The answer is.... Rudy G.

Yep, good ol' Rudy was married to his cousin for 14 years.

Tuesday, February 13, 2007

WOULD YOU VOTE FOR A

M

an who was once married for 14 years to his 2nd cousin? A union that he got annulled by claiming to have never received proper dispensation from the Catholic Church for the unorthodox nuptials. Got your attention? Laugh... 'Tis true though...

Far be it for me to divulge this man's name. You know I hate gossip... plus I actually like this guy and if given the chance will vote for him if he does indeed get the nod and runs for President. I mean really now, in this day and age does it matter if you married your cousin?

This one is really good and yes, it is true.

EVERYONE REMEMBERS WHERE THEY WERE ON THE DAY KENNEDY WAS SHOT

N

ow when your great-grandchildren ask, "where were you when you heard Anna Nicole Smith died?", you be able to add that one to your memory. Me? I was sitting right here in front of my computer and saw it flash on the emergency news ticker tape thing.

I was really shocked. I really felt sorry for the girl, with all the crap she was going through... I swear it wasn't long ago that I thought to myself, "it's amazing she doesn't drop dead from a heart attack or something."

For all of her faults she was a self-made woman... barely graduating 8th grade, she sure made it to the bigtime. It doesn't made a hill of beans how she got there... she just got there.

WHEN ASTRONAUTS GET PISSED

H

ave you heard about the astronaut yet? A married U.S. astronaut was accused on Tuesday of trying to kidnap and kill a rival for the affections of a fellow astronaut after a bizarre 950-mile drive wearing diapers to confront the woman.

U.S. Navy Capt. Lisa Nowak, who has three children, was initially arrested on attempted kidnapping charges on Monday in Orlando after assaulting Colleen Shipman, a U.S. Air Force captain she considered competition for the affections of a male astronaut, police said.

Police said Nowak, 43, a flight engineer who made her first space flight in July to the International Space Station aboard shuttle Discovery, sped 950 miles from Houston to Orlando, wearing diapers so she wouldn't have to stop at a bathroom.

Nowak drove to Orlando airport around midnight on Sunday night, waited for Shipman's flight from Houston to arrive and then followed Shipman to the parking garage armed with pepper spray, a steel mallet and a BB gun, police said.

She also carried black gloves, a folding knife with a 4-inch (10-cm) blade, rubber tubing and trash bags, they said.

In a search of Nowak's car, police later found diapers that Nowak told them she wore so she wouldn't have to stop to urinate during her drive from Houston. Astronauts wear diapers during shuttle launches and landings.

How sad... really sad. I think her defense should be that something in outer space must have seeped into her brain making her do this...

Observations and Questions
I bet she is embarressed as all hell. lol

I HAVE CAVED IN...

Yes friends... I have given in and switched over to the new blogger... but not with a few problems. For some reason Blogger wouldn't allow me to just normally switch.

Therefore, I had to create a new blog, using a Blogger template. Then I had to copy my old template and paste it over the new blog template.

THEN, I had to get a redirect code to paste into my old blog site and which would then redirect you to the new blog address. Still with me?

So now, therefore, as of today my new blog address is:

http://notsonormalnews.blogspot.com

If you have my old blog listed on your blog list, please, please, PLEASE change it to the new blog address so I don't lose you as a friend. I need to you keep visiting me! Once again the new blog address is:

http://notsonormalnews.blogspot.com

Of course for some reason I could not bring all my past blog entries with me.

That new address one more time is:

http://notsonormalnews.blogspot.com

Observations and Questions
