HAPPY EASTER!!
T
omorrow, at the crack of dawn, living rooms all over the world will be covered in little pieces of easter egg candy. Chocolate bunny feet squashed into the rug and marshmellow bunny eyes all over. Labels: Holidays
Having Diabetes like I do now, Easter is regulated to the Halloween of recycled bin holidays. Sugarless candy and chocolate simply just doesn't taste right. I want my REAL easter bunny candy.
At anyway, I want to wish everyone of you a very, very Hippity-Hop Easter!
HAPPY ST. PAT'S DAY... TOMORROW
M
y, my how times change. I can remember years ago the call to St. Patrick's Day was filled with partying and mayhem... Now I am content to see if there's anything exciting on the television. No wild singing at the top of my lungs... no drinking whatever was put in front of me... no half naked Irish girls trying to do things to me... nope, now it's just click... click... clicking on the remote. Houston isn't too big on St. Pat celebrations... not like the bigger northern cities like Philly or New York.
So how is it where you live? Big parade? Bars full? What do you do, if anything?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
T
o Guess Who? Yes, that's right... Me. Ugh, another one crossed off. I can remember how as a kid I couldn't wait for my birthday... I knew the party was coming, the presents unending, people singing... it was a fun time. Labels: Holidays
Yesterday was much different... I was grown up, moved into a new set of digits and running out of numbers. The phone calls from up north back home in Philly and Jersey started early. Everyone called.
Ok, it started thundering here in Houston, really LOUD. I am ending this blog entry really quickly before yesterday turns into my last birthday. If it stops I'll be back to finish it.
Okay, I'm back. I want to thank my blogger buddies who either wished me a happy birthday in the comments section or emailed me... and special thanks to the lady who sent me her panties as a birthday present! lol
And remember, the other day when I fell? Little by little my body got back to normal. My foot and ankle still hurt... my back feels like it went through a ringer, but otherwise I am feeling pretty good. Next time I am going to the hospital though and let them sort it all out. I am an old guy now, officially, I think.
